KMF Friends,
Early Sunday morning, the Zeta Psi Fraternity house at Tulane University was destroyed in a fire. I am an alumnus of this chapter and am saddened by the news, especially since I just visited the house a week ago. Thankfully, the 7 brothers living inside of the house were unharmed. Tulane has offered them free housing on campus and they have some very basic necessities such as toothpaste and toilet paper. They did, however, lose all of their personal possessions including clothing, linens, computers, passports, alarm clocks, towels, textbooks, microwaves, perishable food, lamps, photographs, medications, wallets, drivers licenses, and cell phones.
They need help.
It is our goal to raise $5,600 by October 24th for these displaced fraternity members to ensure that they are able to rapidly resume their student lives and to see that their academics do not suffer as a result of the disaster. By donating as little as $25 immediately, you will make an immediate and crucial difference in a student’s life.
To help, please send a donation through www.paypal.com to tulanezetes@gmail.com After donating, you will receive a thank you letter from Alumni President Stephen Halperin and Vice President Will Woldenberg and be updated daily via email of the progress of our campaign. For other forms of donations including wire transfers, checks, or cash, please email tulanezetes@gmail.com for more details.
With many small donations, we can all help these Tulane students resume their lives.
Sincerely,
Brian |
