This is a question that has been on my mind for a while and as I might be the only one practicing Krav Maga who is interested in such a thing, however I felt at the very least I would open it up for discussion. On the news most of us saw a couple of violent women the other day attack a male employee at McDonalds. The male employee's response to the attack was much more measurable than the attack that the woman had on him. That is he went into the back grabbed a metal pole/pipe and beat these women violently. This example is very extreme and this not what I am talking about.
I know that we have special self defense seminars aside from regulars classes that teach women how to defend herself against a male attacker. It isn't as often but it does happen, how does a man defend himself against a female attacker? As most of you folks know the law doesn't side very well for what ever reason if man should lay his hands on a woman even for the sake of self defense.
As a Male Krav Maga student is there anything to know in terms of handling a violent woman. I know that I have left this discussion very general and that there are many levels of threatening. Can restraining a woman without causing physical harm to her still land a male in handcuffs?
Also is this an important enough topic for men to know in terms of incorporating this into our curriculum??
I am not asking these questions to get a rise out of anyone. I feel this is definitely a topic worth mentioning. This might be a rhetorical question for me as I might know some of the answers already, but I definitely do not know how the law handles this or if a man has any rights based on any given situation. Please help if you know anything from experience....2pin
Ps...If anyone knows how to answer this question from a legal stand point that would even better...Thanx _________________ _________________________
